Hi Mike, So you think that IDEA is missing a key value currently that doesn't have any GUI editor?! I don't think so! We've had lots of messages in this list for not to add any GUI builder to IDEA. I myself have *never* been satisfied with the generated code from gui-builders (from VisualCaf� to VisualAge to JBuilder and etc). The codes they're generating are really a mess and I've always preferred to code it myself. The only positive point of *current GUI-Builders* is when you're going to make a quick-and-dirty prototype. On the other hand most of the developers here are hard-core java or server-side developers and GUI builder has no meaning for them but to increase IDEA's size! So better to keep it as an optional module (IMHO). Am I missing anything?
What are others thinking about this issue?
