This depends a bit on the machine you are using. On a P4, 1,7 GHz you can
hardly work while compiling. On a dual P3, 2x 800 MHz it's no problem. No
slowdown while compiling. That's why I always liked my dual CPU machine
although the processors are relativly old and slow.
