Hello Scott,

I only use the diff from IDEA's CVS support (SmartCVS' integrated diff does not lets
you select text -- but you can define an external diff tool). For all other CVS
actions I use the externally running SmartCVS. It provides me a better view of the
whole project than any IDE can do. SmartCVS sorts the files in a smart way per
default, so you cannot miss them to add/remove or commit. And it has a very cool
"Smart Commit" action: Select all new, missing and modified files, press "Smart
Commit", enter the commit message and the new files are added, the missing files are
removed and finally all added, removed and modified files are committed.

I personally do not need a *powerful* vcs support in any IDE, I like to use external
tools, especially with CVS, because you simply can use another tool, if you do not
like the currently used one any more.

~Mike
