Hi, This feature request comes from the way we compile our idl files. Our idl generation is done in our ant script, everytime the build process takes place. Therefore we do not have the class files for the api generated by the idl compiler until build time.
This causes a big problem when the "Optimize Imports" check box is checked when the classes do not exist in the classpath. It removes the imports to the package that we compile our idl file to. My feature request is another check box to be added. This check box would allow you to turn off removal of imports that can not be found in the classpath of the project.
