I'd just like to second this comment. The IDEA users in our office have a bad rap, because whenever they edit DOS-style files they mess up the line formatting. Our work environment is mixed Unix/Windows, and working on files saved in both of these formats is unavoidable. Every other IDE and editor respects existing file formats, and I'm really hoping that IDEA adds this functionality soon.
