Hello -

I have a problem w/ dialogs coming up without painting their contents (on every version of IDEA that I've used so far)... For example, if I select the Refactor > Rename option using a mouse, a dialog frame will be displayed, the content will flash, and a empty dialog will remain.  Once I force the dialog to repaint (by dragging it behind another window), everything is fine.  This also occurs w/ Frameless dialogs (e.g., Insert Live Template).  However, if I invoke the same functionality via a hot-key (i.e., not using the mouse), the dialog is displayed correctly...

I know that the File > Open functionality uses the Swing component, and it too displays this behavior, so I'm pretty sure that its a Swing bug (since this problem also manifests itself under IBM's VM).  The kicker is that *this problem only occurs on my home computer* and not my office computer (both are running Win2K SP 2)...

The home computer is a 1.4 GHz P4 w/ GeForce2, and the office computer is a 500 MHz P3, so I'm suspecting that it may be due to some direct-draw bug.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in Advance, Chad Stansbury
