Hi,

I have seen this scenario a lot of times. And we are not using network for
our projects. I have experienced the same pauses as Graham with MANY
seconds where Idea is like frozen.
We are several developers that have/had this problem. After i upgraded to
build 540 and increased the memory I have not experienced the
"synchronizing files" message since.

The way I got it to do the synchronizing was by simply using alt-tab to
another program and then back again. I did not have to do anthing but
alt-tab back and it started synchronizing.

Regards

Anders Holmbech Nielsen

ps. Idea is the coolest java IDE
