I work with multiple branches of the same project, and I found it more convenient just to create a different .ipr project file for each branch instead of trying to use the same project file for multiple branches.

What I would really like to know is when we can expect to see this issue rectified, as we will not be willing to use IntelliJ IDEA until it is.
