So maybe we need what windows has, a Use Large Icons option for those with high resolution monitors. Unfortunately GUI systems go by pixels for fonts and graphics, not visible size in mm or whatever. I've often wished for such an option (autoscaling) built into Java. Yes, I know, 2D API... but I want it with no work!
