Hello Chantal,

the problem why Hani is so upset, when he finds a "Jdk1.4" in a message is,
that he is using a Mac and SUN does not support the Mac as a Java-target
OS. So if IntelliJ would deside to make IDEA using 1.4, he and a lot of
other Mac-OS- (and perhaps other OS-) users would stand in the rain.

I could not remember exactly what OS you are using, but if it's Linux, I
can understand you very good to try jdk 1.4 in the hope that it runs better
than 1.3.x. When I tried to run any Java application on my SuSE Linux
(maybe RedHat Linux behaves different), it was a pain, slowly and never
getting to run for at least an half hour. It seems that SUN effort to
support Linux isn't the best, especially for non-US-citizens.
