Hi,

Would it be possible in the project view to mark the files with their error status 
colour.

i.e. If a file has errors in it show a red dot, say between the padlock symbol and the 
name. Or amber or green as the case may be.

This means when browsing the project I can see which files are in error without having 
to open them first.

Hello Mike,

there are some problems with focus on Linux systems. This one is the know
one. We'll try to fix them with new JDK 1.4 and reach the same
usability of IDEA as on Windows OS.
