The .ssh directory has nothing to do with IDEA ... Your questions should
probably go the cvs/ssh mailing lists.

Anyway, here's some information: if you're using ssh.exe from cygwin,
then it will look first for an HOME environment variable pointing to the
location of your .ssh directory. Thus, you can put your .ssh anywhere
just as long as you create a windows environment variable named HOME
that points to it.

WRT Tortoise 0.46, I'm surprised you're having a problem. Make sure that
you *don't* have cygwin in your path *before* TortoiseCVS ! Otherwise,
it may use ssh.exe from cygwin ....
