Trying to reproduce it I understood what happened. Your difference count
is the number of lines changed, isn't it? I thought it as the number of
change blocks (same thing as F7 jumps to). My modification was of two lines,
so it was counted as 2 differences. It was just different points of view
about how difference is counted.
