I got it now.... it happens when one line's only change is adding space and the -w option for ignoring spaces is used on the diff. In the diff it is partially marked (the blue mark is shown only beetween the frames, sometimes just for the line or sometimes it grows up for almost all the file) and it is counted for the differences count. That's why the count showed one more. I guess it should not be counted in this case. There is also this blue mark display bug in this case.
