Hani, get over it.

Developers, on average, are some of the worst writers and spellers that
I have ever seen. Most developers were not hired for their spelling
skills, plain and simple. It seems to me that this is a valid feature
request.

Now I will grant you, that this would be something that I consider a
*very* low priority. I like the ideas of allowing through an open tool
if possible, but I wouldn't like to see IDEA developers spending their
time on this.

Measuring "quality of code" may or may not include spelling/grammar in
Javadoc, depending on the rigor and structure of your environment. If
the quality of Javadoc is considered as part of the overall code
quality, most talented developers would fail miserably in porviding
quality Javadoc. A spell-checker might help in that.

Disagree with placing priority on this feature, if you wish. I think
most people on this list seem to agree that they don't want IDEA
spending time on this. However, your posts come across as elitist and
arrogant, in my opinion. We could all do with a little less of that on
this list!

- Tim

You HAVE to be joking. One would think that java programming would still
be untainted by such rubbish as rampant idiotic political correctness,
but apparently not!

IDEA is not a tool for dyslexics. There, happy? They're discriminated
against because they're unable to spell, just like in high school! IDEA
also is cruel to blind people, as well as those with seeing difficulties
(note the complete lack of accessebility support, those bastards)

If a dyslexic is unable to write good code, then YES, I'm ALL for not
letting them program. Developers exists in a meritocracy, nobody cares
if you're white, black, deaf, dumb, paralised, dyslexic, or socially
disfunctional. UNLESS it affects the quality of your code in a negative
manner, then you'll be branded as 'inferior' in terms of your coding
ability. The dyslexia (or whatever) you choose to wear as a badge of
honour won't help one whit.

Here's a suggestion for dyslextics, idiots, and anyone who can't spell
to save their lives...write your docs in Word, then paste them in.
