Edoardo, Maybe the problem is in error message. IDEA _doesn't_ try to open an HTTP connection to fetch the schema document. This error message simply means, that IDEA has no knowledge about reaching the schema document. I.e. you have no external resources configured, no schemaLocation attribute, etc. Here "resolving" means: IDEA can't find the schema document according to its own rules by the URI. It has nothing common with TCP/IP host resolving etc.
