The other day I asked about building a Mac OS X clickable application for
Idea. I was
directed to the archives for instructions. I searched the archives (which is
not an easy
thing to do given the web interface to them) to no avail.

I tried using the MRJApplication builder to create an application. That
succeeded to the
point where I was able to enter the license information but then failed with
a cryptic "Internal error"
message. MRJApplication builder does not appear to provide a way to save the
settings
so that you can easily repeat the process. Obviously not designed for
applications such
as Idea with such a long classpath.

Now, not being proficent in Unix shell scripts, it took me awhile to get the
idea.sh to
run but it did run. There was nothing wrong with idea.sh, I just needed to
invoke it correctly.
My B&W 300mhz G3 groans under the load; there were significant delays while
typing but everything
appeared to run.

So I would like to repeat my request. Would who ever knows how to make a Mac
OS X application
out of Idea please post the instructions? And the instructions should
include the options needed
to capture any tracebacks. I am willing to test the instructions, enhance as
necessary, and then
forward them back to JetBrain so that they may include them in their
Install.txt file.

Thanks
