Idiotic for you doesn't mean idiotic for me.  Go download eclipse and go open source 
if you 
feel strongly enough about it.  This is beta software.  The decision to include or not 
include 
features is a business decision made by the folks at intellij.  When all is said and 
done, your 
features will work well enough with the features requested by others.  This trust we 
place in 
the developers.
