These two are probably what you care about; It’s a GCC/4.8.x vs GCC/4.9.y choice, really! If you want the latest-n-greatest, go for the latter; Yet, if you desire maximum compatibility with other software (such as open source codes, intel*, commercial debuggers, CUDA, MATLAB, -did I forget something? ;) -, PGI and who knows what), I’d rather go with goolf/1.7.20!
