What kind of tools do you have in mind? xz and bzip2 already have to be present as a requirement of EB. It seems quite difficult to come up with a complete set? gawk, sed, grep, ... I don't think we again much by adding these to EB? I personally expect that any Linux computer has vim installed ;) ( and yes, Ubuntu, I'm looking at you ) Ward
