I'm not aware of any approach like this, no.
You can consider just using the parallel_studio_xe tarball as a drop-in
replacement, but I'm not sure if it'll work.
And it's likely you'll end up with an installation that's a lot fatter
than it needs to, I think
For which version of the Intel tools is this?
If it's for 2016, it seems like they changed things quite a bit there,
so someone will have to dive in and figure out what the problems are,
and how they can be fixed...
We should probably look into a new easyblock to install the whole Intel
Parallel Studio as a whole?
