That usage pattern is kind of normal: sometimes it remains idle for months, some other times people dump their 6K of easyconfigs in a single commit. No problem with that :) Just ask to join and create your subdirectory with your git name under the ./users area and do your direct upstream push (no PRs needed over there, keep it simple).
