Hi,
I am trying to install ANSYS in the cluster. The cluster architecture
is like this:
1. We have a head node that controls everything, 4 compute nodes and 1
storage node
2. The head node has Debian 8.7 Jessie as the OS. All the services required
for compute nodes, like PXE, slurm, proxy etc, is loaded a VM using Xen.
3. The compute nodes get the OS from the PXE server running on the head
node. The OS the compute nodes use are Centos 7.3
4. The storage node has centos installed in it.
We have the following files with us :ANSYS_181_LINX64_DISK1.iso,
ANSYS_181_LINX64_DISK2.iso and ANSYS_181_LINX64_DISK3.iso and a license. I
tried making the entire iso file into a zip file. Placed the zip file in
one of the paths the easybuild searches for (build directory). Then tried
installing it using the dummy toolchain.
The problem I am facing is
1. The easybuild is unable to find the zip file
2. I am confused as to where to place the license file.
I would be grateful if some direction as to how to proceed with
installation can be given. The support from the ANSYS technical team has
not been very encouraging in this regard.
