Dear EasyBuilders,
Next to the goolf(c) and ictce toolchains [1], I would also like to
deprecate the oldest 'intel' toolchains, i.e. the ones that were defined
prior to intel/2016a (which includes intel/2016.00, but not intel/2016.01).
This means that future EasyBuild 3.x releases will spit out a big fat
warning when these toolchains are used, and that any easyconfigs that
use these toolchains will excluded from the regression test.
In EasyBuild 4.0, these easyconfigs will be archived.
If you are still using an old 'intel' toolchain and would like to keep
doing so in the future, please let us know ASAP and mention why.
