Dear all,

The organising committee welcome submissions for talks, walkthroughs, panels,
posters, lightning talks and workshops for the RSEConUK 2019 Conference taking
place at the University of Birmingham, 17th - 19th September 2019.

https://rse.ac.uk/conf2019/call-for-submissions/

We’re aiming for a well-balanced programme that includes a wide variety of
perspectives to reflect the diversity of the RSE community and its activities.
We are not just looking for seasoned presenters or people who are already well
known. Thus speakers from under-represented backgrounds and at early career
stages are highly encouraged to submit a proposal.

Conference themes are:

· Community and Careers
· Collaboration, licensing and Open Source
· Technologies, techniques, libraries and languages
· Good practice
· Training, teaching, coaching, education
· Anything else related to research software

7 May – Deadline for submissions 23:59

23-30 May – Notification of acceptance

Successful submissions will be expected to attend the conference.

Travel bursaries are available https://rse.ac.uk/conf2019/travel-bursaries/ and
there is an adjusted timetable for those who need a bursary to be able to
attend & present.

We look forward to receiving your submission.
