Hi Sam,

That made it!  Thanks a lot!

Somehow I expected EasyBuild to do that automatically, ie, if the downloaded file is has a different checksum than expected, EasyBuild would try to download the file again without giving explicitly a flag to force the download. After all, a downloaded file with a wrong checksum is not going to be used, is it?

But well, I guess there are reasons for the current behavior. I still must learn a lot about how EasyBuild works.

Again, thank you.

Best regards,

David

Hi David,

I manually downloaded the tarball, and the checksum looks correct.
Can you try re-downloading?

eb MBROLA-3.3-GCCcore-9.3.0-voices-20200330.eb --force-download

    Hello,

This is my first time in this list. I hope it is the right one...

I'm trying to install MBROLA using eb, but it fails due to a wrong
    checksum:

The file is there. So it seems to be a genuinely wrong checksum
(in the past I found cases where the file could not be fetched and
obviously the checksum verification didn't work).

Probably upstream made a change...? Any idea how can I fix this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards,

    David
