Position Title : SECRETARY, FSN-7
(Salary range between Rp 4.7 – 7.6 million per month, depending on qualifications, experience and salary history).
Hours of Work : 40 hours/week
Work Location : USAID/Office of Director
Opening Date : Immediate
Closing Date : Close of Business January 13, 2006
Scope of Work: Serves as Secretary to the Deputy Mission Director and the Regional Legal Advisor. Prepares documentation required by the Deputy Mission Director such as letters, cables, memos, faxes, report using various computer programs. Processes communications for the Deputy Mission Director and the Regional Legal Advisor and the Director's office with high level officials on day-to-day activities, including reproduction and distribution of general office correspondence. Acts as researcher for the Regional Legal Advisor, performs research and compilation of USAID regulations and policies and local laws. Maintains and manages the Regional Legal Advisor's files on a regular basis. Updates as required on a daily basis and otherwise, all publications including U.S. Codes. Obtains monthly government publications related to the Mission policy such as Mission Orders, General Notices, and Legislative Reports. Provide logistical and administrative support such as arranges appointment, travel, records and maintains files. Serves as the secretary to the Director during the absence of the Director's secretary.
Qualifications: Completion of secondary school and advanced training in secretarial skill is required. Minimum three years progressively experience in secretarial, administrative support and office management. Demonstrated written and spoken fluency in English and Indonesian required Level IV (fluent). Good knowledge of correspondence manual and instructions, as well as clerical procedures. Good computer skills with knowledge in internet, Microsoft Offices and excellent typing speeds. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, initiative, and resourcefulness.
LES/FSN/CCNPSC - Applicants must be available for a minimum two-year appointment.
Areas of Consideration: Applications will be accepted for this position only from individuals currently working within the U.S. Mission. All eligible Indonesian employees from the Mission should submit their applications through their American supervisors.
