Hi

Im using ebox and then ubuntu 8.04 LTSP server witk ldap.
Work perfect.

First you need to go to /etc/defaults/slapd

and change ldapi://127.0.0.1:389 to ldapi://:389 for binding to all inferfaces.

same response with firewall on or off 
my password, the ldap password I set at install and the one in ldap.secrets
