Hi Johan,

eBox 0.10 will set the directory just like you need.

In the meanwhile instead of modifying /etc/samba/smb.conf you have to 
modify /usr/share/ebox/stubs/samba/smb.conf.mas

That is the template which is used to generate the real /etc/samba/smb.conf, 
so if you modify that you won't experience those problems when rebooting.
