I hope I can get help quickly since I am not able to access my ebox ( I
use it as file server as well)
The following:
I had problems finding the webinterface ( after apt-get update and
apt-get upgrade, some admin work on ssh and a wronly defined gateway).
So I thought to have a look at /etc/network/interfaces and found only this:
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
This was not ok I thought so I changed it in:
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
# Manually added
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.100.30
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 192.168.100.0
broadcast 192.168.100.255
gateway 192.168.100.1
after that I did
ebox~#:/etc/init.d/networking restart
*
I get the following:*
Setting up IP spoofing protection: rp_filter.
Reconfiguration network interfaces...SIOCDELRT: No such process
ifup: interface lo allready configured
done.
But still have no access please help me since I have valuable files on this
server
