Thanx nicolas for your quick response. May i ask: if you can install vmware on your ebox, than i guess you can install software. If you can install software, can you install *any* ubuntu package? (and yes, apache & mysql would be candidates no 1 and 2)
We would like to run this on low-voltage, solar powered machines. Not the kind of machines you keep on adding VM's to. rgds, reinier On Monday 10 December 2007 17:26:57 nicolas diogo wrote: > hi, > > something to consider. > i am running a webserver with joomla on my network but i have installed them on a vmware virtual machine. > my ebox runs vmware server so all web traffic is redirected to a virtual machine to serve my website and ftp. > > regards, > > ----- Original Message ---- > From: Reinier Battenberg <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: [email protected] > Sent: Monday, 10 December, 2007 2:07:42 PM > Subject: [Ebox-user] pre-sales (?) questions > > Hi, > > I need to do an assessment of software that can handle a small network > with > about 10 concurrent users.
