A full backup restore will restore eBox configuration plus users' data files, 
that is /home/samba/*.

I recommend you install the last eBox version on a virtual machine, restore 
the full backup and check everything is alright. If everything is fine 
reinstall the machine and restore the full backup.

Forget about that, it's much easier. Go to the openVPN module in eBox, and 
click on the down-arrow, select your operating system, check your external 
server IP and pick a certificate. Click on download and you will get a file 
with all the configuration you need: openVPN ca, cert key and stuff. Make 
sure the router connected to your eBox is redirecting the port 1194 to  eBox.
