if you are on a windows pc use winscp (freeware sourceforge)
(i have just done a 170 gb transfer with it (takes a while though)

If you have samba installed, enable it. Create a user and grant
administration
privileges on him. Save changes.
Now you have to access your ebox via smb:\\ebox_ip on a linux machine or
\\ebox_ip on a windows machine. You will see a shared
called: "ebox-internal-backups". Copy your backup there.
