in My case, i had a clone of the installation to save me time.
just as a suggestion, once you have the pc in a state that you are happy with,
use clonezilla to create dvd/cd of the installation and together with regular
backups you will save yourself a lot of trouble and time.
currently i have the automatic updates turned-off and i am using ebox version
10 (? - i am not sure and i am not on the site either).
but i will be downloading the latest debian ISO from the website to test - it
will take me over 6 hrs due to slow connection 18 kb/s.
