Ok, Paul, no problem at all!

So, if I make a Load-Balancing, when the master link is down, the slave will
continue operating?! And when both are up, I’ll have technically a 5M link?

Sorry, the second part should read "ONLY when the 4mbit connection is down"

I know it if possible to load balance the two connections, and have 5mbits
bandwidth. But if you only want to use the 1mbit connection when the 4mbit
is down, You could also put together a bash or perl script that would check
an interface's status and then set the default route. I have little
expertise, so could someone with more knowladge chime in.

Hello, fellow eBox users!

I'm with a little doubt to install eBox on my servers. I have two cable
links at my office, one at 4Mbps and another at 1Mbps. I'm wondering if I
can do a High Availability system under eBox. This is how it should work:

The 4M link would be the 'master' link, and the 1M, the 'slave' link. Can I
elaborate some way to tell eBox that when the 4M link is down, the 1M start
working?! And when the 'master' link is back, the system does the turn-back
to him.

Any help on this?!

Thanks in advance,
