I know it if possible to load balance the two connections, and have 5mbits
bandwidth. But if you only want to use the 1mbit connection when the 4mbit
is down, You could also put together a bash or perl script that would check
an interface's status and then set the default route. I have little
expertise, so could someone with more knowladge chime in.
