        Hello! I haven't quite figured out the source of the error you're  
seeing,
but I believe it has something to do with VNC's confusing source of  
"where
to store config info".
        As best I can tell...when you install EchoVNC as a Windows service,
reboot, and configure it via the service tray icon, those changes  
will save
in the correct registry location (HKLM). If you install it as a  
service, but then
configure it via the Start menu...you're likely to adjust the "user  
mode"
registry settings (HKCU).
        As for the Viewer...it saves it settings into HKCU *and* into a .vnc  
file
in "Local Settings". So ever when it should be easy, it's not easy. :)

        I hope this helps. I see this confusion as a bug that we need to fix
in the 2.1 release.
