J: Hello! When you customize InstantVNC (by holding down the SHIFT key), did you remember to put your echoServer into the address field? By default, it connects to ours at "demo.echovnc.com".
To check ... try using the "-ll" switch when you start your echoServer. That will create a verbose debug log file that will output the password that a client sent when it failed to connect. Also, to get it listening to multiple ports, just use the -p switch.
