I ran makeconfig manually, as eciconf produced an error when I tried to use that. Here's what I typed (as root): ./makeconfig [EMAIL PROTECTED] password /usr/local/bin/pppoeci 158.43.240.4 158.43.240.3 0 38 0e600101 09150102 /etc/eciadsl/eci_wan3.dmt.bin When I run ./startmodem, here's what I get: test : /usr/local/bin/eci-load1 vid/pid read from /etc/eciadsl/vidpid: 0e60/0101 0915/0102 Init modem ... Load Firmware ... read 3160 bytes instead of 50672 can't read block ECI Load 1 : failed! Failed to load firmware If I run eci-doctor, here's what it returns: You are using linux kernel version 2.4.18-3 Support for USB is OK Preliminary USB device filesystem is OK UHCI support is OK /dev/ppp is OK HDLC support is OK HDLC support is OK (no bug) dabusb module is not loaded: OK vid/pid read from /etc/eciadsl/vidpid: 0e60/0101 0915/0102 Loading EZ-USB firmware... read 3160 bytes instead of 50672 can't read block ECI Load 1 : failed! Failed to load EZ-USB firmware I have tried using different .bin files in makeconfig, it makes no difference at all. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Driver Linux pour modem ECI ADSL USB: http://flashcode.free.fr/linux Archives de cette liste de diffusion: http://liste.eci.free.fr Pour se desinscrire: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe
