I have some problems that seem to be caused by usbdevfs and not properly to
eciadsl but I would like to know if the problem is common ora rare. hence I
ask you guy on the mailing list to share your experience.

I will appreciate if you provide some hardware and software details but it's
not mandatory, I'm happy if I just get some numbers :-)
Here are the details.
Sometimes the eci driver is unloaded because of a usbdevfs failure reported
in /var/log/messages :

I get such errors in certain situations only, especially when I use the PC
as a masquerading firewall to which I connect a Window lan and make use of
p2p programs like WinMX. Internet traffic goes well just for limited time
(generally not more then 2 minutes). When many (10 are enough) connections
(upload and download) are stablished the driver fails (better said: usbdevfs
fails) and the connection hangs because eciadsl doesn't find the usb support
anymore to lay on.
I would like to know if there is someone else experiencing such problems, I
am not shure if the problem lays on eciadsl or on usbdevfs and eciadsl just
triggers it.
Generally I have no problem in downloading many files, browsing the net,
getting email etc ... all at the same time but as soon as I try WinMX the
modem hangs after few minutes.
