Bob,

I can't remember when the last time would have been that I tested the WTK 2.0. That is a pretty old toolkit at this point. Have you tried anything newer just to see if it helps? Although it may seem that I'm trying to blow you off, in reality, I do not know what might be going on.

A couple of other things worth looking at trying:
- Verify that the WTK is picking up the new Java version you installed. At least on the newer versions of the WTK that I have installed, you can use the KToolbar application to check this. Start the application and choose Help -> About... From that dialog, choose "More Information" and it will tell you what Java version is being used (at least by the KToolbar). I'm assuming that the same version of Java will be used by the emulator as well.

- Because this appears to be some sort of an error inside the emulator, you might also want to try the kvm-interest mailing list as well.

Finally, I hate to ask again, but can you check one more time to make sure that the debug settings you are using for Eclipse match those specified in the EclipseME documentation? I don't want to sound condescending, but the emulator is completely unstable with some of the default debugging options in Eclipse.

This version is listed in the supported wireless toolkits section of the
eclipseme help.

Bob,

Which emulator are you trying to execute?
