Let me start by saying that I was unable to get bluetooth-based on-device debugging going with Carbide.j as documented by Nokia. I couldn't get it working with either the Nokia-provided Eclipse plugins or with EclipseME. With that said, I believe that the Ecmt debug agent is supposed to act as a standard JPDA server. My current theory is that EclipseME should work fine with this functionality if it can be setup to work at all. Some of the forum Nokia posts make it sound like there are a lot of people having trouble getting this functionality to work.
If anyone manages to get on-device debugging working with Carbide.j, with or without EclipseME, please let the members of the list know how you managed to get it going. I should note that by opening the Carbide.j management console from the agent, I could see that the connection was active. It just didn't seem to want to make a debugger connection.
