Markus, I'm not sure what to tell you on this one. A few releases back, Motorola went off and created their own fork of the EclipseME tools. While this is legal within the licensing of EclipseME, it strikes me as short-sighted. While their version worked for their emulators at the time, I don't know that they are bothering to keep up with the changes in EclipseME. That is not helpful at all to users that need to use more than a single vendor's emulator. Had they donated their changes to the Motorola support back to the EclipseME project OR just created a different Motorola EclipseME plug-in everyone would have benefited. Unfortunately, that was not the path they chose to take at the time.
You are welcome to create a bug report or feature enhancement request against EclipseME for that particular version of the Motorola toolkit. If anyone finds time, including me, it might be possible to figure out why it is failing. Might I also suggest that users of the Motorola toolkits request of Motorola that they provide feedback and help to EclipseME? Requests from me are likely to fall on deaf ears. If there is more than a single request though, they might be more interested in helping out. In the meantime, if anyone has any thoughts or solutions to this problem they would be greatly appreciated.
