Hello people. I am using "Eclipse 3.2" with the latest version of EclipseME
on windows XP Pro. My problem is that, although I was able to import the
"iDEN SDK for J2ME (MIDP 2_0)" for i605 into Eclipse by importing from
"C:\Motorola\iDEN SDK for J2ME (MIDP 2_0)", it is missing bootclasses such
as CLDC and maybe MIDP; Eclipse is complaining that it can't find "
java.lang.Object" and many other JavaME classes. The "iDEN SDK for J2ME
(MIDP 2_0)" SDK stores all of the classes in a directory tree
under "C:\Motorola\iDEN SDK for J2ME (MIDP 2_0)\lib\i605". However, the
CLDC/MIDP classes are specified in this directory tree too. How do I get
EclipseME to recognize the CLDC/MIDP classes defined inside this directory
tree structure?
Also, I noticed the file "DebugAgent.jar" in the directory "C:\Motorola\iDEN
SDK for J2ME (MIDP 2_0)\device\i605" does this mean that I can debug using
Eclipse too?
The EclipseME plug-in defines a "eclipseme.toolkit.motorola" class. Is it of
any use to me? Does it support the "Motorola iDEN i605" device?
I have an off subject question; How does one uninstall a plug-in from
"Eclipse 3.2" ?
Well, that's everything in a nutshell, I would appreciate it if anyone could
help me!
Thanks,
Erica
