Erica, I'm guessing that this thing isn't a valid UEI emulator, but to be sure... Can you look around for an emulator.exe within the SDK installation? If you find one, can you invoke it as "emulator -Xquery" and see what (if anything) it returns? That will at least tell us a little bit about it.
