Hi,
Can you give a me a few details about your environment : Windows and IE
version, system language, the account type of the logged on user
(admin/regular user) ?
Thanks,

Hi,
I have the same problem, I installed what you told to install but
still, IE only opens the file, it seems the plugin does not catch the
drag&drop operation. And I can see the plugin in the list of IE add-ons.

Hi,
The package in the updates site might not be ok. Try to get the kit
from here:
http://svn.nuxeo.org/trac/nuxeo/browser/browser-extensions/NXIEHelper/trunk/NxIEHelperSetup/SvnDebug/Nuxeo-MSIEBrowserExtension.exe?rev=11660&format=raw
Then, uninstall the old version and install this one.
MSIE Browser Extension works with IE6 and IE7, so the pb it's not
related to this.

Acrobat Reader windows with my file...
Sorry but...
Is there, like in Firefox, any icon visible in IE Browser ?
Also, my IE Browser is version 7.

Yes. In IE, go to Tools > Manage Add-ons > Enable or disable
add-ons. You should see, among the Enabled plugins,
NxIEHelper.BhoMain. Also, after you install the plugin, you have to
restart the browser.

Hi,
Once installed, the MSIE Browser Extension is active in your IE
browser; it doesn't need any other enabling. To test it, login in
Nuxeo5 and enter in any workspace, then drag-and-drop any
file/files/folders+files.
Vlad
Sorry Vlad but I didn't retrieve it in my IEBrowser. Once I drop a
PDF onto my folder, IE launch the PDF reader and show me the
content of the file. No script started!
Is there any possibilities to check if the plug in is installed or
not ?
Thanks

How can I start the plug-in for IE ?
I download it, install it (C:\Program Files\Nuxeo\MSIE Browser
Extension) but I didn't retrieve it inside my browser!
Well something wrong in my procedure but where ?

Hello,
The server and the browser are on the same PC.
The PC : Intel Centrino Dual core at 2Ghz with 2Gb RAM
It run with Windows XP.
The tests were carried out on firefox.
Can you test on Internet Explorer ?
This should be a lot faster.
Is there any new version for the plug in ?
Not yet, but we hope soon.
We had a prototype extension using Java instead of JavaScript, but
because of default VM memory size, we had other problems when
encoding
files.
We will probably end up with a native XPCom component that is used
by FF
extension to do the encoding work.
