Fulltext means the whole text of the file _AND_ all metadata-fields?

Okay thanks. I will define an XML-file with the word and its synonyms and 
point with Compass to this file, right? Where can I find the structure of 
such a synonym-file.
I'll need to write a script to transcribe the actual synonym-file into the 
new format...
