We plan to tag and release Nuxeo 5.1M2 next week, hopefuly on Monday. It will be based on the new Maven structure, which currently lives in a branch in the SVN.

If you are a core developer, try not to introduce foreseeable unstabilities in the code.

If you want to help test the applications, you can build it for yourself this way:

1. Have a clean (pristine) JBoss 4.0.4.GA instance on /opt/jboss

2. Checkout http://svn.nuxeo.org/nuxeo/nuxeo-ep/branches/maven from the SVN.

3. Run 'make' on the checked-out source code. You need Maven 2.0.4 or 2.0.5 (until a bug with Maven 2.0.6 is fixed) to get the project built correctly.

4. Run the application whith /opt/jboss/bin/run.sh

(This is obviously for Linux / Mac OS - for windows you currently have to install some kind of make port and fix the Makefile if needed - this constraint will be dropped in the near future).

BTW: there are some benefits of the new maven approach, will we will describe un the release notes.
