Yes we plan to move to Seam 1.2 as soon as possible, but this won't
happen before 5.1 final.

Seam (version 1.2.1 at least) the Exceptions component does store
the Exception
in Conversation context. In fact it stores 2:
1. The top outermost parent Exception under the name
'org.jboss.seam.exception'
2. The handled Exception (that being managed by a Seam Exception
Handler) under
the name 'org.jboss.seam.handledException'
You can of course, 'add' your own functionality using the Seam Install
Precedence feature too. Are there plans to use this in Nuxeo in
general?
