Yes we may use @Install(precedence=FRAMEWORK) or @Install (precedence=APPLICATION) but we haven't looked closely at it yet.

We could need requests from the community (you :)) to know which components you want to override.

Keep in mind that you'll rarely need to override a standard component, as Nuxeo has other extension mechanisms, and we don't rely on Seam all the time.

Yes we plan to move to Seam 1.2 as soon as possible, but this won't
happen before 5.1 final.
